It’s like working on puzzles every day: I really liked math in high school, so that’s what I initially went to university for. It’s nice knowing that this work will never get repetitive or old. Every day is a great educational experience. Not only is Nyssa busy working, she is also recently completed a post-grad program in Mobile Application Development this summer. This combination really appealed to me, so I transferred over to this program.

If you haven’t been exposed to computer programming before and are unsure whether you’d like it, I’d highly recommend trying out some tutorials online. What do you do in STEM? I code in Java, probllem sometimes work on small enhancements or bug fixes individually, or on bigger feature projects together with a team.

After graduating I took a certificate program in Mobile Application Development to further develop my programming knowledge. I literally learn something new every day.
